If any of these names sound familiar, then you must be well aware of one of the most loved beverages in the world.
Coffee.
Some people drink it to keep themselves awake. Others drink it so they can function daily.
And there are those that drink it because...well they just love it.
Whatever the case, it is a moment during the busy day that most coffee drinkers look forward to.
We call it coffee therapy.
Our May box requires very little explanation. You either love coffee or you don't and we obviously do!
This box includes a sticker set (yellow backed sticker is clear), rose gold bulldog clip, a roll of washi tape, a cute takeaway coffee cup charm and a coffee specific insert!

On a recent trip to Tokyo, The Coffee Drinker and I decided to check out Kuramae.
Our first stop was a lovely little leather goods/cafe called Camera.
It was a quiet weekday morning when we went and we ordered and paid at the counter before taking our seats.
Since the cheese toast was prominently advertised at the front of the store, we ordered that, ginger ales as well as 2 spam musubis that were on display on the counter. We skipped tea/coffees because we were planning to have those later at a different spot.
The tables were a bit small but it enjoyable to sit in the cafe, especially on a cold day, watch the cafe staff do their thing and admire the amazing leather goods.
Food wise, the cheese toast was great but I can't recommend the spam musubi enough, I wish I had ordered a second serving!

Another easy tutorial to help you use up your washi tape stash (I know you have one XD)
Today, we are going to use them to make twist ties!
What you will need: wire, washi tape (and whatever you need to use your twist tie for.)
Cut a suitable length of wire and the same amount of washi tape.
Lay the wire in the middle of the washi tape length wise.
Flip it over. Cut the same amount of washi tape and repeat the step before.
To mix things up, you can use a different print piece of washi tape!
Perfect for little gift bags!

Or better yet, mechanical pencils you never need to sharpen? Well its time to add some color to your life as Japanese stationery brand uni has put out a series of colored pencil leads!
The colors are vibrant and identical to color pencils but they possess the same qualities as a normal pencil. Erasable and fine enough to write with. [0.5mm pencil lead!]
I personally love drawing with these [blue is a common draft color used by many who draw comics] but they are also perfect to add that pop of color in your journals. And if you make a mistake? Just erase it!

When I was researching places to shop in Hong Kong, I came across Journalize.
Started by a young stationery lover, the store stocks fountain pens, travelers notebooks and a host of other stationery items. It is a bit out of the way but if you're sick of the big chain stores and would like to look at a personally curated selection of products for the stationery lover, it will definitely be worth the trip!
Also, the little stamp corner is super fun and the interior is cosy so definitely worth a look if you're in Hong Kong.
If you are like me, you probably have a lot of washi tape. I'm not going to say too much because there is no such thing *laugh* But if you are feeling a little guilty about your collection, here is a new way to start using them!
Make photo corners from them!
What you'll need:
Tip: Start off with around 10cm worth of tape [Or 4inches for you non metric folks ^^]
And that's it! The back of it is already sticky so its ready for use in your scrapbooks, journals and wherever you can think of!
Naturally its perfect in your TN layout too!
