Review: Tombow MONO One Refillable Eraser Limited edition Mineral Color collection

Japanese stationery brand TOMBOW has launched a limited edition comprising 4 of their best selling stationery series. Collaboration of 4 brands: MONO, Campus, Dr.Grip, and HI-TEC-C COLETO!

Touted as stationery that gives you a calming feeling. They are available in 4 "mineral colors" inspired by nature; Shell Beige, Pistachio Green, Sheer Purple, Sorbet Blue & Apricot Pink

Picked up the MONO one "Holder Eraser" in Apricot Pink.
According to the official website, it is pink like a fruit bathed in sunlight.
External dimensions: diameter 15mm x length 75mm
Phthalate-free eraser

The holder adds strength to the high erasing power unique to mono erasers and features an elastomer grip that is non-slip by providing a firm grip.

The medium-fine 6.7mm diameter eraser can smoothly erase a single letter from an A-lined or B-lined notebook. It is also refillable [ Replacement eraser : ER-SSM ]

The small size makes it easy to fit inside a small pen case.

Review: Tombow Fudenosuke Brush Pen 10 Color set

I loveeeeeeee brush sign pens. But it is usually only available in just black ink [or red at most]. So when I found out Tombow Fudenosuke pens were available in a 10 color pack, I snapped it up immediately!

Tombow Fudenosuke Brush Pen 10 Color Set

Each pen is single ended with a hard elastomer tip.

The pens feature everything the standard Fudenosuke pen is famous for ;
  • long lasting pen nib that is good for lettering and drawing
  • water resistant ink [after drying]
  • water based ink
  • fade resistant

Here are the swatches!

Identical looking when compared to the usual fudenosuke brush pen [the pen caps are colored to reflect the ink color]
If you are a fan of the standard brush pen, you definitely need to check out the other colors!

Review : Tombow PiT AIR mini glue tape Limited Edition collection

Tombow PiT AIR glue tape range is my absolute HG glue tape to use so when they released a limited edition series of their mini versions, I thought it was a good time to review them!

The 3 limited edition cases featuring some gorgeous gradient pastel shades.

Like their regular sized counterparts, these are also effortless to use; requiring little to no pressure to glide the tape along the paper.

Here they are out of the packaging.

With the regular sized Pit AIR as a size comparison.
Do note that the regular sized dispenses 8.4mm wide glue tape whilst the mini dispenses 6mm wide glue tape.

Unlike some of the prior releases, these Pit AIR mini are refillable. They will require PR-CAS refills which are sold separately. (The cases come filled with tape already)

A wonderful addition (and pop of color) to anyone's stationery stash.

What do you think?
Have you tried them?

My top 5 favorite stationery items of 2020

The first blog post of the year and to kick us off, I think it is a good opportunity to share my top five fave stationery items from 2020.

Please note that this ranking is not in any particular order and is my own personal opinion.

1. Pilot+Lihit Lab A4/A5 Folder
See review HERE

2. NICHIBAN Masking Tape Dispenser/Cutter
See review HERE

3. Tombow Air Touch Range
Tombow PiT AIR Glue Tape + Tombow MONO AIR 5 Correction Tape
The most effortless tape dispensers ever. The resistance on the surface you are applying to is so low, it is like running it on air. (See what I did there)

4. Pentel Energel Range
I don't know what else can be said about this amazing range from PENTEL. The smooth flow of ink makes it my absolute favorite to write with and my fairly large double digit collection of them shows it.

5. PLUS WHIPER Cream Correction Tape
When these were released, I scoffed at them. I wondered who would ever need cream colored correction tape just so it would match the cream paper they used. Well, as it turned out, that person was ....me. Now the white correction tape just looks absolutely glaringly out of place and I can't go without my cream correction tape. A case of "you never know what you were missing out on till you tried it."

What are your top 5 stationery items for 2020??
