Review : ZEBRA Clickart 36 colors + swatches

One can never have enough pens. So when I received this big box of markers for my birthday, I was thrilled XD Believe it or not, I have never owned a single clickart pen!

They come in this nifty carrying case which also doubles as a pen stand!

Each pen features a one button "click", making it very easy to switch colors without having to cap them after use.

The pens also promise to be less prone to drying out

Despite being water based, they do not cause your usual pen ink to run/bleed when you use it to color over them. This is a great feature for those who like to draw in their journals or scrapbooks.

Here are the swatches

Overall, I am in love with these pens! They are super streamlined as well making it easy to fit a lot of them in my pencil case ^^.

Review : BIC Intensity Aqueous Dual Tip Marker

I'm always interested in trying new brush pens so when DAISO started carrying these, I knew I had to buy them ^^

BIC Intensity Aqueous Dual Tip Marker

There are 12 colors in all [according to the website] and I picked 3 of them up to try!
Reminiscent of the tombow dual tip markets, one end has a brush nib and the other is a 0.7mm felt tip pen.
Swatches for BLACK, BROWN and PEACH

Since the brand promises vivid intense color, I've decided to match it up against some of my go-to brush pens.
To be fair, only the black ink pens will be compared.
As you can see from the swatches above, the BIC intensity marker is indeed one of the darkest black inks. (Surpassed only by the Copic Multiliner Brush Pen)

Not only is the color vivid, it writes just as smoothly as the more costly brush pens. I highly recommend trying these out if you find them!

Review : KOKUYO MARKS+ Two toned color marker

KOKUYO has released a new type of highligher range :
mark+ two toned color marker

There are 5 basic types which in pairs of similar colors. Eg: light blue & blue or light pink & pink.
Or a color with gray. Eg: green & gray ( in pic below) or yellow & gray etc

Each marker has two colors which you can alternate between by simply turning the pen on the corresponding side.

Color Swatches

Its a great way to carry more than 1 highlighter in your pencil case and I find it very handy when studying. You can highlight more important points or keypoints in a different shade without having to switch pens. A nice feature when you are highlighting as you read!

Daiso Marker Pens

Have you ever walked around the Daiso stationery section and wondered if the pens are worth your money? I did too so I bought them to test so you don't have to.

These Daiso pens are the Water based marker pens. I picked up 3 sets, 2 pastel and a metallic.

The first pastel set is a yellow, pink and orange and it looks like a traditional highlighters especially the yellow, which is more neon that pastel.

The second pastel set is purple, blue and green and are very nice and pastel. I can definitely see this being used in my bullet journal.

Lastly, the metallic set contains a blue, pink and a green. The only way to describe these are that they are a thicker version of a metallic pen. The ink comes out with a layer of metallic ink that does rub off so be careful with it. With or without the metallic layer, the colours are still pretty.

Overall, the markers are good quality with pretty colours. They are a bit chunky for carrying around in a kit but would be great for using in a diary/planner/bullet journal.

Are you planning to buy these markers? Did you see other colours? Let me know in the comments!
