Daiso Marker Pens

Have you ever walked around the Daiso stationery section and wondered if the pens are worth your money? I did too so I bought them to test so you don't have to.

These Daiso pens are the Water based marker pens. I picked up 3 sets, 2 pastel and a metallic.

The first pastel set is a yellow, pink and orange and it looks like a traditional highlighters especially the yellow, which is more neon that pastel.

The second pastel set is purple, blue and green and are very nice and pastel. I can definitely see this being used in my bullet journal.

Lastly, the metallic set contains a blue, pink and a green. The only way to describe these are that they are a thicker version of a metallic pen. The ink comes out with a layer of metallic ink that does rub off so be careful with it. With or without the metallic layer, the colours are still pretty.

Overall, the markers are good quality with pretty colours. They are a bit chunky for carrying around in a kit but would be great for using in a diary/planner/bullet journal.

Are you planning to buy these markers? Did you see other colours? Let me know in the comments!

5 Places to buy Travelers Notebook in Singapore

Tokyu Hands

Tokyu hands has 3 stores, they all carry a good range of Japanese stationery, beauty, lifestyle products. The Travelers notebook range varies between the stores but when I visited the Suntec store recently, they had the new blue notebook covers.

Nearest MRT Stations:
Westgate, Jurong East (Eastwest and Northsouth Lines)
Suntec City, Esplanade (Circle Line)
Orchard Central, Somerset (Northsouth Line)

Overjoyed

Overjoyed is an art store, it caters to art students and fine art hobbiests but they also carry a small selection of Travelers Notebook. It's also a great place to buy pens and markers. The only downside is that it's in the basement of an older building.

Nearest MRT Station:
Golden Wall Centre, Rocher (Downtown Line)

NBC

NBC is a stationery store that carries a mix of Japanese and other stationery, they also stock gifts and greeting cards.

Nearest MRT Stations:
Bugis Junction, Bugis (Eastwest Line)
Raffles City, City Hall (Eastwest and Northsouth Lines)
Jem, Jurong East (Eastwest and Northsouth Lines)

Kinokuniya

I should start off by saying that the stationery sections of Kinokuniya in Singapore are run by NBC (see above). The locations are different but the range is similar so more options when it comes to finding what you need. Bonus! Lots of cool books to look at.

Nearest MRT Stations:
Ngee Ann City, Orchard (Northsouth Line)
Liang Court, Fort Canning (Downtown Line)

Cityluxe

As the name suggests, Cityluxe carries more premium stationery and gifts. From Midori notebooks, Travelers notebook and Kaweco pens to Daniel Wellington watches.

Nearest MRT Stations:
ION, Orchard (Northsouth Line)

Hope you found the list useful, if there are any locations I missed out. Please comment below!
